EPGP Award System

Read this page first!  EPGP Explained

Then read on.

The current EPGP points are assigned as follows:

Decay Rate

- We have a constant decay rate at an average of 10% per week, which is calculated daily

(True Decay Rate: First 7 Days after a raid:0% Decay, The next 50 Days: Each earned point goes down by 0.02 points per day. So if you earn 100 points today, then in 7 days time you'll start losing 2 points per day)

This means that we only measure performance over a 2 month period of raids. It's usually a good idea to try and spend your points as often as you can, or you will lose them after 2 months.

The decay also means that if you go through a period of not receiving gear, you will shoot up the list over a period of time a lot quicker than somebody that has received gear recently.

On Time

We take a snapshot of who is in the raid at 1 minute after raid start time.

20 Points are given to everybody that's at the instance when raid time starts.

Progression Runs

Our current progression runs are;

Naxx 25

OS 1 Dragon left up

Malygos 10 and 25

Points are awarded as follows:

Learning Boss:

* Each wipe:

Before we downed a boss: Wipes are 25 points per wipe.
Once we've downed him at least once then wipes are 5 points
When he moves over to farm status then wipes are 0 points

These points are for Boss wipes only, and are wholy at the descretion of the raid leader if a certain wipe will be awarded points.

* Boss Kill:

One Shot (Fist time we see him ever) - 800 Points
A one wipe kill (Only the first time we see him) - 400 Points
A Kill - 125 Points

Farming Bosses

These are bosses whose tactics we know and are able to kill. This is up to the Raid leadership to determine if a boss is moved from Learning to Farm.

* Boss Kill: 50 Points

Current bosses on farming status in TK/SSC: Hydross, Lurker

Farming Raids

Bonuses

Guild leadership can assign DKP bonuses for various thing that happen outside the raids - like collecting mats/making pots etc.

One Bonus that will become a fixture: Signing up for a raid 24-hours before hand and rocking up on time: 25 Points.

Gear Costs

You first need to qualify to receive gear. Please check the rankings for more information on this.

We have 3 levels of gear costs:

For Primary Raiding Role: 15 Gear Points

* These are items that are used in your main role as raiding purposes

For Secondary Raiding Role: 1 Gear Point

* These are items that are used in your secondary role for raiding purposes.

* This is specifically for classes that can be asked to off heal, off tank etc. and you must be willing to bring this gear with you during raids, so that you can swap out as needed.

* You must let the Raid Leaders know beforehand that you wish to roll for such items, and that you are willing to swap roles during a raid as needed.

Some examples:
- Shadow Priests,Prot or Retri Pallies that can be asked to off heal
- Fury Warriors that can be asked to off tank
- Resistance type gear for tanks
- Tanking Mages etc.

For Outside raiding purposes: Donation to the Guild Bank

* Any item you want that can be used in RP/PvP/PvE grinding/Different Spec.

* Any item that nobody wants. Please note, that if you bid for this, and you then use this gear in a raid, you can be penalized.

* The cost is a donation to the guild bank. As we roughly get 1.5 Void Crystals per DE, a donation to the Guild bank of equivalent raiding mats/pots/gold will be appreciated in exchange for such an item.

How to bid

The priority order is: Main Role, Secondary Role, Outside Raiding

We make use of an in game bidding mod to record the bids.

To bid you need to whisper the loot master with a number:

For Primary Raiding Role : /w Lootmastername !bid 2
For Secondary Raiding Role : /w Lootmastername !bid 1
For Outside raiding purposes : /w Lootmastername !bid 0

Please Note: If you want to change your spec and start collecting gear for it, the you will have to let the raid leadership know beforehand. All upgrades for the new spec should be rolled for as Primary Raiding Role.

Raid Levels

Raid levels will be determined by DKP earning raid attendance and being on time over a 6 week period. A weekly review will happen, with ranks changing on a weekly basis.

20% of the number will be determined by being on time and 80% by raid attendance

Core Raid: You need to maintain an EP number of at least 900. If you fall under 900 you will be given 2 weeks to restore the EP number to over 900, or else you are demoted. There are limited spots available. A max of 5 Tanks, 18 DPS spots and 8 Healer spots.

Raid: Between 400 and 900. There are limited spots in core raid, so once core raid is full, you will stay a raider. Will be promoted once a core raider is demoted or retires. Note that this can be dependant on the spot that opens up as well.

Friend: Less than 400 EP points.

Initiate: You have joined the guild recently and will be on Initiate status for 4 weeks.

Core Raiders:

* More than 900 EP Points required

* Priority in team selection
* Bid priority on BoP Recipes

* 4th on the priority list of team selection

Substitution

If you sign up, and you are not chosen, you can substitute for that raid. Please whisper the raid leader before the starting time that you are willing to substitute. If you do not whisper the Raid Leader is will be assumed that you are not on substitute.

Substitutes need to be ready, and should be online for the whole run and can be called on at any time during the raid.

You will earn 70% of the DKP that the team earn during the run. If you do get called up, you will receive 100% of DKP earned that night.

There is a limit on the amount of subs needed for a night.

* Signing up for a raid and not showing up: 100 Points or 10% of your EP whichever is higher
